Morse, Louis W. age 100, of Knoxville, died peacefully Early Friday morning, May 4, 2012 with his family by his side. Louis was a graduate of Attica High School, Attica, Indiana and loved to square dance. Louis was a United States Army Veteran, serving during World War II in North Africa. Louis worked for the Studebaker automotive plant and was an avid car enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his former wife and the mother of his children, Betty and his wife, Myrtle who raised his children as they were her own and many other beloved family members. He is survived by his present wife, Marilyn; sons and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Maxine Morse and Daniel Morse; two granddaughters; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Family and friends will meet by 1:15 PM Wednesday at East Tennessee State Veterans' Cemetery (John Sevier Highway) for a 1:30 PM graveside service with full military honors presented by the Volunteer State Veterans' Honor Guard.
