Nelson, Daniel James, Jr. Age 53 of Knoxville formerly of Daytona, FL, passed away Wednesday April 11, 2012. Studied at Oakridge High School and also the University of Tennessee, He was of the Lutheran Faith. Daniel is Preceded in death by his father Daniel James Nelson, Sr. Survived by his mother and step- father, Barbara W. Streholw and Richard A. Strehlow of Knoxville, daughters Kirsten Nelson of Huntington Beach, CA and Danielle Nelson of Denver, CO. Daniel was a supporting member of the National Rifle Association. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 6:00 pm Monday with a memorial service to follow at 6:00 pm with Fr. Howard Hess officiating. Online condolences can be made at www.rosemortuary.com.
