My thoughts and prayers are with the husband Ernie and sons David and Neil in the loss of Bilo Spencer Nelson, who was always happy, full of fun, and caring to all she knew.
Being a shut-in now myself, I did not know about her illness, or I would have sent flowers an a message to her much earlier. Today, I heard this sad news for the first time and have missed the services.

Dr. John H.L. Marshall was appointed Superintendant of Eastern State Psychiatric Hospital in the wake of revealed scandalous conditions there. Our family moved down from Washinton D.C. and anew kind of kufe began for us. Bilo - a long time volunteer at the Hospital, was one of the first people I met in Knoxville and what a pleasure it was. Bilo was a jewel. She was a wonderful person who loved others. Her sense of humor was outstanding. He generosity expressed is so many ways, was marvelous. her faith in God radiated to others. She will be greatly missed
