Memories & Candles
Dear David:
My heart is saddened by the news of Jan's passing. And "passing" she has...to her heavenly and eternal home. I will cherish my memories of Jan from our college days. Although we never were able to spend time together, I know our lives as wives and mothers have travelled parallel paths. She cherished the love and devotion of her husband and children, a blessing to any woman. David, may God comfort and strngthen you and your family through your grieving and in the lonely days ahead.
In Him,
Ellen Lesher Bundy

David and family. I met you and Jan when I worked in the Cafeteria at Cedar Bluff Middle and substituted at Cedar Bluff Primary. Jan was always so nice and good to the children. She always had a smile for the cafeteria staff. She was loved by the entire staff at the Primary School. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. May her memory live on forever, and God bless all of you with strength and faith to get through this. Ann Halkiades, Retired from Knox County Food Service.

My Mother and Daddy shared with me the news and I want to write and express my condolences to the entire family. Jan used to babysit for my sister and me and we loved it when she was the babysitter for the night! So unbelievably kind and always played lots of games with us. My sister and I were both honored to be in her wedding. We wore the most beautiful pink smocked dresses and felt like we were so

Dear David, Amy, and Rachel,
I thought Jan's service at the church yesterday was a wonderful tribute to a wonderful person. I stood in the back because there wasn't an empty seat in the sanctuary or the balcony. She made a positive impact on everyone who attended, and so many more who weren't able to be there yesterday.
Jan was such a genuine person who understood what was important in life. She was a difference maker at SHPC in so many

Amy and Rachel,
What two beautiful legacies your mom gave us...her love and guidance are evident in the ways both of you have chosen to live your lives, and each of you will carry her best qualities forward in ways that honor her. May your faith and love for each other comfort you.
