Dear Brewer family:

I'm so sad to hear of Donnie's passing. He was always so nice to me when i was growing up at the Jefferson City swimming pool and on the tennis court. What an outstanding man to give time and tennis tips to someone who was younger than him - I'll always remember his kindness and his laugh. My thoughts are with you, and if my sister, Janet, was still with us I'm sure she would echo my thoughts.

You'll have memories forever, hold them and remember.

Andrea and family:

My heart and prayers go out to to you in this time of grief. Everyone loved Don and your family and we all miss your presence here in Dallas ever since you guys left.

Try to concentrate on the happy memories as best you can. And there probably is a special section of heaven for pro tennis players where they shoot balls from cloud to cloud, and the devil has to send up the ballboys and ballgirls everyday.

Dear Andrea and family,
I was very saddened to hear about Don's death.
He was just the best father, husband and friend.
Jake, do you remember Elizabeth, your first friend and classmate from Allencrest and Deep Valley? What fun you had growing up!
I lost my dear Chuck in 2007. I still miss him every minute of every day.
You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love, Lucy Somes, Dean and Liz (Elizabeth)

I remember all the tennis practices and trips with Don. I played against him in high school, losing of course 8-1. My sympathy to the family and friends. I did visit with him at the last UT Tennis Reunion a few years ago.
