Dear Uncle George and cousins,
We were saddened to hear of Aunt Arlene's passing. She was a wonderful woman and a very caring person. Special memories are plentiful. She will be greatly missed. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with each and every one of you. Even though she is in a better place, it still doesn't make it any easier.
Hugs to each of you.
All our love,
Gary and Mary Jo

Dear George, and "children" George, Jeff, Carol and Cheryl,
Our in-between neighbor told me of Arlene's illness. Grandson Bo and I walked past the house Friday, visiting "The Herbold Turtle" by the lamppost; I wondered how Arlene was doing. Then tonight Jim shocked me with the obituary notice. We are saddened to hear this news, to learn Arlene won't be making a recovery. Hugs to all of you in your sadness.

Uncle Georgie, George (Mary), Carol, Jeff and Cheryl. We all send our love and our condolences to all of you. I can picture the smile on Aunt Arlene's face as the angels escorted her through Heaven's gates. I will miss the phone chats with her and will miss her smile, sense of humor, kindness, the list goes on and on. She will never be forgotten. Rest in Peace, Aunt Arlene. You are loved.

Our deepest sympathies to the entire family. I will always remember Arlene and George coming to most of the boys baseball games and sharing in our fun and memories in the Thunder family. Dearest Herbold Family:
My heart aches for your tremendous loss. I remember very fondly Arlene's sense of humor and her gentle, kind and loving spirit. I can't even imagine the void that is left in her passing, but I do know that she is in heaven. I am positive that she is with my Lola and that they are hanging out together while Lola is looking to see what kind of puppy treats Arlene might have in the magic pantry door

Cheryl,
Though I did not know your mother, and I'm just now getting to know you, I know there was a tremendous amount of love between you and your mother and other family members. It must be very comforting to know that she was welcomed into heaven with open arms, and she no longer suffers. I hope you can focus on these facts and that it continues to bring all of you peace and great comfort. Prayers abound!

To my sweet Herbold family,
Words are inadequate, but know that our love and hugs and prayers are with you all. I loved your Mom ever since I can imagine. I know she was received into heaven by a grand welcoming committee yet it doesn't ease the hurt right now. Again, we love you all.
